Join Thrive - A Community of Women Empowerment
How Thrive was started.
“The world is full of lonely people afraid to make the first move.”
Frank said this to Dr. Don Shirley on one of the nights when they checked into an inn during their road trip. In the movie Green Book, Frank served as Shirley’s driver and bodyguard, tasked with keeping him safe throughout the 1962 musical tour. I laughed and cried as I witnessed their friendship blossom and saw the injustices faced by communities of color.
I loved it so much that I watched it again two weeks ago when the phrase “leaving soon” appeared on Netflix for this title. And that sentence, “the world is full of lonely people afraid to make the first move,” always hits me.
It makes me wonder: do we truly enjoy solitude that much, or is it just a glorified mask we wear to hide our loneliness?
It also makes me wonder: how many of us are afraid to ask for help, to seek support, while deep down we yearn for a sense of belonging—a place where we can have fun, laugh, cry, learn, let go, and connect?
A community. A circle.
But we hesitate to be “the one to make the first move,” or we get carried away in our busy lives and a thousand nameless things.
When I first started Living Well With Tiffany, I wanted to establish wellness from a holistic approach - to help women heal and build a healthy relationship with their mind, body, and soul.
With time, Living Well With Tiffany continues to evolve and grow into a personal development platform. As the business transforms, my personal journey also leads me to amazing opportunities and connections. Together with building a sustainable business, I have a dream & a mission: “As I grow in this journey, I want to bring others with me. As I grow, I want to build a community of women supporting women.” Since that day, the mission has never stopped. It continues to evolve into its best shape and form.
With that mission in mind, Thrive - Women Empowerment Circle was created. It’s a social space for us women to meet and connect regularly (both offline and online), with monthly themes focused on Self-Love, Self-Development, Wellness, Connection, and much more.
It’s also a platform to shine a light on “ordinary women with extraordinary stories,” something I created with Project 35 two years ago. It’s a space where you can share your stories, learn from others, and lean in for support.
